If eating, drinking, swimming, reading and sleeping are not enough to satisfy the soul, then there is plenty more to do.
           
We hire our own beach house sea kayak/ surf boards to the guests.Otherwise you can rent the scooters/bikes to move around to visit nearby attractions in Kannur.

Around

You can trek/hike along the side of the coast without any hassles to discover couple of hidden secret beaches between the cliffs. Also visit the magical, mystical Yogi cave nearby the Chera Rocks which seperates the Ezhara Beach and Kizhunna Beach.

Snorkelling/Diving

Ezhara Beach has lots of huge boulders (Rock) spread in the sea near the beach with full of Mussels and Oysters. If you are in the mood of diving to catch fresh green mussels/oysters which can be cooked in our kitchen. If you are lucky, you can also see the group of Dolphins playing near the rocks. Diving is tide dependent.

Walking/Cycling

It’s a pleasure to stroll around the Ezhara Village people are mostly very simple and down to earth. Kids are excited to see the visitors. While walking there is chance to see Mongoose, Squirrels, Porcupines and Eagles. During nights you can see pack of foxes hunting for beach crabs in the beach. There are lots of Temples were you can watch famous Theyyams ritual dance. It happens in and around Kannur during the Month of Oct to May. If by chance please make an attempt to enter a house to see how they weave cotton for making clothes.

Wind Surfing

Ezhara beach as the nearby Muzhapillangad drive in beach provides the ideal oppurtunity for Wind surfing you can guarantee the wind will pick up at Mid Day making perfect condition for wind surfing. The conditions are ideal, so bring own equipment, as there is no one to hire.

Sailing

Sailing is the traditional mode of transport of local fisherman. The beautifully crafted wooden dhonis are a great way to get around. We can arrange to hire local fisherman boat to take you for sunset sailing if the conditions are okay.

Fishing

For those who like to pass the days fishing, then this is the ideal place to landline off the beach or hire the fish catching nets to do fishing from the rocks. For more enthustiastic trips can be arranged to the open ocean, either on a dhoni with poddle or motorised boat, Anything caught can be cooked, just the way you like it by our chef.

Trekking/Hiking

Kannur has this beautiful picturestique mountain Phythal Mala is 80 Kms drive from Ezhara. Auto/Taxis are arranged with a guide for hiking in this beautiful location. Once you reach on the top you can feel you are in the top of the world. On the way back we make a visit to Fort St Angelo (1th Century), Arakkal Museum and Parassini Kaavu Muthappan Temple.

Also we make arrangements to visit the nearby Aralom wildlife Santuary if you are Trekker while trekking, you can watch wild elephants, Sloth Bears, Bisons, Monkey and Tigers. Meenmutty Waterfalls can also be seen during the trip.
